- Hallo Sammy! Yes perfect idea. Couldn't find the U8144 myself, so I am happy to be able to complete this.
An U7144T will be a good separate article, because there are a lot of pics from the Overloon Museum on Commons! I have not much time today because of the eating of "oliebollen" but it will come... Thanks again for your goood work! Corjan de Wit (talk) 15:35, 31 December 2014 (UTC) There is already a K-31 lame article. So we can complete that! Corjan de Wit (talk) 15:38, 31 December 2014 (UTC)
Article name
[edit]Needs attention, per capitalization and probably "common name". GraemeLeggett (talk) 15:32, 31 December 2014 (UTC)
Pounds to tons?
[edit]Not kg?
Corjan, my fun is done. This guy thinks that England is Europe. Maybe he will help you. Good luck, maybe later. Sammy D III (talk) 01:51, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
Yes I can understand that. For me the fun is over with the deleting of all the pictures! Why in heavens sake.....????? I suggest we go to another page where he hopefully will not find us?Corjan de Wit (talk) 08:01, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
- See the image use policy at WP:Galleries, where among other (relevant) points it says " Images in a gallery should be carefully selected, avoiding similar or repetitive images, unless a point of contrast or comparison is being made". Just inserting images from the Technical Manual is not helpful to the article which needs text at the moment. GraemeLeggett (talk) 12:12, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
Inches to feet
[edit]I have been told that feet are easier than inches for many people.Sammy D III (talk) 22:53, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
Name 21 Nov 2016
[edit]I am thinking of changing the name to "Autocar U8144T 5- to 6-ton 4x4 truck". Sammy D III (talk) 12:17, 21 November 2016 (UTC)
- It has been 4 months without comment so I am going to move it. Sammy D III (talk) 19:46, 30 March 2017 (UTC)
Infobox 29 Mar 2018
[edit]Is a U4144-T a "Variant" of the U8044T in the infobox? The smaller models are in the blurb in detail.
Infoboxes do not have to (but of course can) be referenced if the info is in the blurb. I think I put one in "Specifications" because it was all one specific truck from one specific source. Thank you. Sammy D III (talk) 13:51, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
