Anyone have links for etymology?
[edit]Doe sanybody have a links to the original research paper or something else that give the etymology for the species names? It would make the stubs at least a bit more interesting. Thanks.TheLordOfWikis (talk) 05:32, 22 April 2020 (UTC)
- The etymology is listed in "A review of the archaeid spiders and their relatives, with notes on the limits of the superfamily Palpimanoidea (Arachnida, Araneae)", but good luck finding a version that isn't behind a paywall. There's not much to it, though. All it says is "The generic name refers to its Australian distribution and is feminine in gender." Sesamehoneytart 14:38, 22 April 2020 (UTC)
- Located "Australian Assassins" parts I and III and added – they are free access.--Oronsay (talk) 19:26, 7 May 2021 (UTC)
