Hi can some1 help me i cant understand wat for and against means does it mean for=yesand against=no (moved from article; originally by User:211.30.113.81 on 17:52, 7 September 2005)
Would someone please give some more context to this page? How could a free and democratic country like Australia reject an amendment that grants basic civil rights? There's a piece missing here...
- Both major parties didnt support a couple of the other questions, so rather than try to educate to v ote yes to these and no to these, they said vote no, hence there was never a really strong advocacy for the yes vote. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.45.50.129 (talk) 11:07, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
