Winner Statistics
[edit]There should be a Winner Statistics section. There are 4 winners and I think that is enough for a section —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.111.36.35 (talk) 13:10, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, statistics isn't encyclopedic and violates OR. ApprenticeFan talk contribs 01:15, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
Dannii Minogue as host

Call-out order colors
[edit]Call-out table format
[edit]I will publicly say this. I don't care if the aussie articles look somewhat different to the American articles. Just because it is based on the American series doesn't mean the articles have to be entirely dependent upon the formatting. OUR call-out tables are white in the void areas instead of black because it conforms to the Wikipedia manual of style WP:MOS while the black tables do not. I hope all those IP editors understand the point I am trying to get across here. Thanks.
P.S. Just a warning, if the articles continue to be disturbed in a major way, I will seek semi-protection of the cycle 5 article. Hope all is understood. If you have any questions, please leave them here. --Lakeyboy (talk) 09:47, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
- Speaking of taking things from the US show, there was an inconsistency with the makeovers about what to call the fringe/bangs. Both words were used, so to make it consistent, on all the cycle pages, I've changed it to fringe. Ditto one instance with the UK version. Save the Americanisms for the American version. Digifiend (talk) 22:20, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
Cycle 3 contestants
[edit]There has been an edit war about the number of contestants of Cycle 3. The season was originally in 12 contestants in first episode and one episode was added at the ending of first episode and made it to thirteen. So, don't change it unless I noted it on the article. ApprenticeFan talk contribs 16:44, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
Getting some sort of block on edits?
[edit]Is there any chance of getting some sort of block on the edits? The last few days has seen a few people come in and change the Cycle 5 winner and runner up from TBA to various names when noone knows the outcome of the live final until it's shown on Fox 8. Having some sort of block or possible moderation of the edits may stop this sort of thing from happening. Paigeangels (talk) 12:29, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
- Just ask for temporary semi-protection at WP:RPP. If the vandalism is recent, they will almost always grant the request. Plastikspork (talk) 13:47, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
Cycle 6 spoilers
[edit]I saw an info about the upcoming season's spoilers, maybe this edit came from May 30th, IP users added the contestants for the upcoming cycle from an Australian source. Please sure we will wait for the official reliable source from FOX8 website. ApprenticeFan work 01:50, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
- The names that have been posted here were from an official press release that FOX8 posted on its blog on throng (http://www.throng.com.au/australias-next-top-model/revealed-16-finalists-australias-next-top-model-cycle-6), also, sections with contestant names have been made on Fox8's forums by administrative staff (http://www.fox8.tv/forum/viewforum.php?f=78), press photos have been sent out detailing the names of contestants and have been published by numerous news sources (http://www.smh.com.au/entertainment/tv-and-radio/finalists-revealed-for-next-australias-next-top-model-20100518-v9py.html), these are all just as reliable as the Fox8 website and probably aren't considered spoilers since it's readily available, published information. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.214.58.17 (talk) 13:38, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
- As stated that Throng website (link above) is not meet WP:RS guidelines. Make sure we will wait the official source, not the blog, Blogs are not reliable sources. Spoilers are not allowed in Wikipedia. ApprenticeFan work 16:40, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
New Judge
[edit]There's a new judge this season of Australia's Next Top Model. Josh Flinn is replacing Jez Smith. Ciao! --Lena Cops (talk) 12:58, 4 July 2011 (UTC)
Cycle 7 finalists
[edit]There are 20 standard finalists for the seventh series of the show, so do not revert until consensus is gratified. ApprenticeFan work 10:30, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
- You are like a mess ApprenticeFan. At first, you did not allow us to edit the article about semi-finallists having the advantages of finallists. Now you allow. What do you think? 1.52.33.52 (talk) 12:24, 11 January 2012 (UTC).
Cycle 8 finalists
[edit]The top 15 was already revealed, but the show hasn't even started yet. So please if you add spoilers use trustful sources whoever has created this. Matze-bepy123 (talk) 18:56, 8 July 2013 (UTC)
Contestants lists
[edit]I moved all the contestants tables up from where they were at the bottom, to the top (before the episode summaries begin) because the contestants were being described there before we even knew who the contestants were. I think the move makes their identification in the articles easier. 2601:241:0:EA46:D023:D3C4:987F:839A (talk) 00:29, 5 July 2015 (UTC)

- This should be rejected for now and that table is not suitably follows Wiki rules that may cause WP:REVERT and WP:STYLE edits. We should back its old and clean table format without a such of junks. ApprenticeFan work 11:10, 1 February 2018 (UTC)
- I remember several years ago, long before I started editing Wikipedia, browsing NTM articles logged out and seeing call out tables looking like this, before they changed to the simplified format (see this old revision from 2010 and then this one from 2011, for example). If you look on ANTM's talk page, you'll see discussions like this one which led to the simplification of the tables.
- I personally don't mind which format is used, as long as the content is verifiable. If we are going to revert back to the format that was used until 2011, I'm wondering if we should change all call-out tables from all Top Model seasons' pages to the same format for consistency, but either way I don't mind. LinguistunEinsuno 11:37, 1 February 2018 (UTC)
- Putting forth a suggestion that lies somewhere in the middle... what if we just highlight the names of challenge winners in a simple color and retain all other aspects of the other tables. This is more effective for two reasons:
- *It prevents the creation of combination colors that keep expanding (boldened names will always be the same color regardless of the backdrop as shown in the example)
- *Challenge wins can be acknowledged with merged cells since just one name will be bold.

- The contestant won a reward challenge
- The contestant was immune from elimination
- The contestant was eliminated
- The contestant won the competition
- I also think adding the challenges on the table is certainly more helpful than adding an extra sentence in the summary. That gives incentive for people to write lengthy in-universe summaries of what happened. More complete tables like the one above enable simpler to the point summaries, like the ones for this show, and people can glean the rest from the tables. I think mentions of bottom twos and eliminations can also be left out, again, people can glean this information from the tables readily. Take for example the summary for episode 1 of cycle 9;
- Episode summary mentioning challenge:'
The twelve selected finalists met for the first time, and learned that their tasks throughout the competition would be scored in order to determine who would be eliminated each week. The contestants then took on their first challenge, which consisted of a runway show in front of Australia's fashion elite, where Lucy was chosen as the winner. They later had to pose in front of the camera for an au naturel black and white photo shoot, mentored by Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio. At elimination, Alex received the best overall score. Cassie and Kaitlyn landed in the bottom two, and Kaitlyn was eliminated from the competition.
- Episode summary not mentioning challenge (where table can supplement):
The twelve selected finalists walked in front of Australia's fashion elite before posing in front of the camera for an au naturel black and white photo shoot, mentored by Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio.
- I just think adding the challenges and reining in the flowery descriptions in the summaries is the best way to go to preserve the tone of Wikipedia. Trafalk09 (talk) 05:52, 3 February 2018 (UTC)
- Here is the complete revised example I'm proposing (along with some annotations for clarity)

Hello again! Haven't responded for a long time. I have just researched on Eboni's leaving in cycle 2 that she was hospitalized and returned in the competition at the following episode. I will add the color of orchid on the series' table for now. ApprenticeFan work 10:15, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
