Rename to "Austin–Bergstrom International Airport runway incident" or similar?

[edit]

It's been suggested the article be renamed, and that the discussion to take place here. I'm in favor of the rename, for the stated reasons on the deletion page (none were against the rename as far as I checked). The following users suggested the rename and/or concurred:

@K.e.coffman, Carguychris, and Oakshade: Kindly see above, thanks. zmm (talk) 00:17, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The longstanding consensus standard on aircraft accident article naming is found here. You can note that the existing title conforms to that standard, so you would need to have a really good reason to diverge from it. - Ahunt (talk) 01:11, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
As stated in the rename proposal on the deletion page, it really isn't about the aircraft or airline. Rather airport security. Whatever the investigation will show, most, if not all, of it will be about how the individual got on the runway. Google search, for example, gives more consistent hits when the search is "Bergstrom International Airport runway incident", versus "Southwest Airlines Flight 1392", where the first two pages are full of flight tracking results. zmm (talk) 02:06, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Update: I checked the latest headlines (quoted below) and the NTSB's role (which has been delegated to the local police), and will go ahead with the move. zmm (talk) 16:10, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
