Unsupported changes & other edits

There has been a recent pattern of adding changes to this article which appear to be against Wikipedia policy/guidelines.

Per WP:VERIFY & WP:IRS there needs to be cited proof from verifiable references that Augustine Warner held the military rank of Colonel.
Per MOS:FULLNAME, the lede sentence of a biographical article should contain the given/birthname of the individual.
