The "Pettenkofen box"

This so-called "box", formerly mentioned in this article and in an article on the Web Gallery of Art, is actually a chemical process for restoring old paintings invented by Max Joseph von Pettenkofer, not August von Pettenkofen. WQUlrich (talk) 19:16, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
