Schmidthuber or Schmidhuber?
[edit]Well title says it all. I have encountered the name of this particular general most of the times as Schimdhuber, not Schmidthuber (in Kumm's book, for instance). Any opinions on the subject? --Jake V (talk) 18:35, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
- Patzwall and Scherzer list him on page 411 as "August Schmidhuber" (no t after d); German Cross in Gold on 3 August 1943 as SS-Staf. in the 2. SS-Geb.Jg.Rgt.MisterBee1966 (talk) 06:12, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
- Patzwall, Klaus D. and Scherzer, Veit (2001). Das Deutsche Kreuz 1941 - 1945 Geschichte und Inhaber Band II. Norderstedt, Germany: Verlag Klaus D. Patzwall. ISBN 3-931533-45-X.
- I have finally moved this to his proper name, Schmidhuber. Peacemaker67 (send... over) 14:10, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
