Observations and suggestions for improvements
[edit]The following observations and suggestions for improvements were collected, following expert review of the article within the Science, Technology, Society and Wikipedia course at the Politecnico di Milano, in June 2022.
It is apparent that the author has developed a vast knowledge of the audio deepfake literature and, in general, transmits this knowledge to the reader in an efficient way. The article is very well structured and covers the research area in a very balanced way. The text could be improved, as it is affected by few typos and incorrect use of English language. Moreover, a couple of claims in the "Open challenges and future research direction" section are not supported by references.
