Idea to merge 'Audience Measurement' with 'Ratings Point' & 'TAM'
- There should be a siayer in this game, and the USA is not the only country that has "ratings" for broadcast. 203.217.36.172 00:29, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, its true. Both articles are quite short & represent same things. So, TRP should be merged in audience measurement.

Needs to be more said about accuracy, or lack of it, and methodology. Just how are the results of a "representative" sample converted into "audience figures" for specific TV shows. How are these viewing figures for specific shows judged to be near or far from actual viewing figures (surely an unknown quantity?) - and so is it even possible to determine accuracy in this? I came to this article in search of insight into this.
Under methods : the section on software degenerates into jargon - last sentence was terrible, so have taken it out. States there are applications in development, but does not mention what they are - Also sounds as though the writer favors these unspecified applications - for instance "will provide invaluable...information", so have deleted that bit too.
Criticism section refers only to measurement of radio audiences. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.18.164.15 (talk) 03:14, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
