[edit]Is it relevant to add Stephen Hendry as living in Auchterarder? I see other towns have famous residents (I added the famous resident sub-title here after the S Hendry edit) but I see it more relevant to show who was born in a town, rather than who currently resides there. I didn't remove it, but I think it is an invasion of privacy (Auchterarder (talk) 14:50, 8 May 2008 (UTC)).
I agree that it might not be relevant, but Hendry has stated in press interviews that he lives in Auchterarder, so in this case it doesn't seem like a breach of privacy. Jean de Luz (talk) 11:03, 5 February 2014 (UTC)
John Rutherford Gordon?
[edit]Is the reference to John Rutherford Gordon a mistake? His Wikipedia entry makes no mention of Auchterarder. There might be confusion between Gordon and John Junor, a more recent editor of the Sunday Express who was famous for his constant references to Auchtermuchty (in Fife), and the alleged good sense of its citizens (see link). I have never heard of any connection between Gordon and Auchterarder. Jean de Luz (talk) 11:03, 5 February 2014 (UTC)
