[edit]"A small member of this asteroid family..." This phrase is confusing, insofar as 3103 Eger and 44 Nysa have entirely different orbits. 3103 Eger is an Earth/Mars-crosser, while 44 Nysa (the only E-type in the Nysa family) is a main belt asteroid. Can anyone provide any information that suggests that Eger was forced out of the Nysa family into Earth/Mars orbit, or was sheered off of 44 Nysa? A.k.a. (talk) 17:22, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
