One of the sentences imposed states there was "anti-bias programming" It should be changed to "participate in anti bias [training/classes]" or other synonym.
Such language is extremely charged and inappropriate. Implying that the types of programs used by NYDOC and similar organizations should be considered "programming" does an extreme disservice to victims of actual "programming" and "reprogramming" campaigns. See eg https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deprogramming#:~:text=Deprogramming%20purports%20to%20assist%20a,the%20group%20associated%20with%20them. 2605:A601:A0DC:CC00:C8C5:9345:47F3:1F63 (talk) 02:15, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
- Not done: That is not the meaning of "programming" as it is used here. It is clearly meant to refer to a set of related measures or activities with a particular long-term aim, not behavioral deprogramming. — FenrisAureus ▲ (she/they) (talk) 03:58, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
