Copies and chart positions of the singles
Because I reverted the page twice today, the reason for the revert.
The following points about the sales figures are unclear:
Cradle:
There is a news story at http://www.thesoundstation.org.uk/jsp/8-14/news/8-14_Atomic_Kitten_Cradle.jsp claiming that the single went to #1 in Asia and there is a comment at amazon left by somebody that it went to #1 in Japan. However the official Tokio Hot 100 http://www.sound.jp/tnsn/az/tokio-bpm_f.html does not list single as ever gone to #1 nor is it found at the Top 10 lists of 2001. There are local charts in Japan so there is a chance that it went to #1 there, but the story about #1 for Cradle in Japan is still unproven. And the 1,800,000 sales figure seems far too high. On the official OMD site (because Atomic Kitten was a project by OMD) it makes no mentioning of it whatsoever even though Andy lists every hit and sales figure when he was still involved with the band.
Feels So Good: There is a 1,500,000 figure on the internet on unofficial publications, but Right Now sold 1,200,000 and was the best selling album, so there is doubt about the 1,500,000. It has been reset to 600,000 which is the only direct source I could find, however there is mentioning that it was close to tripple platinum, so a more up-to-date figure can be around (or over) 750,000. Still 1,500,000 is too high. (P.S. The 1,500,000 was initially added by me and I hereby stand corrected)
Atomic Kitten (US album): There is a 2,000,000 figure on the internet, but it never charted on the Billboard Album Top 100 and the girls were send to the US because it failed to chart upon release. This once again makes that 2,000,000 figure unreliable. I couldn't find any other figures so it is currently left blank.
Not every other item could be checked, however the other items are in balance with the amounts known, so I give them the benefit of the doubt, but the three items mentioned above are not in balance.

Atomic Kitten released in New Zealand?
Could the self-titled album been released in New Zealand as well as the US? Compare: New Zealand Top 50 Albums of 2003 -- Ianiceboy 01:00, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
More on the Chart stuff
Since Liz's official biography mentions 8 million sold (even though the bio can be outdated), it is now clear that the World Wide Sales stuff is unreliable and cannot be verified and goes waaaay beyond 8 million. So I somehow think that Liz McClarnon is more honest and reliable in this case. The old table is pasted here for historical reference in case some figures are correct and the column about WW sales is removed from the article.

Fansites
The following fansites were added with the edit summary There is no reason or need to remove all fansites –
- http://www.lewscomputers.co.uk/atomickittenactive/
- http://www.atomic-kitten.com/
The reason they were removed is that Wikipedia's external links guideline and WP:NOT policy prohibit linking to more than one fansite. I've retained the link to http://www.atomic-kitten.com/, since judging by forum traffic it's the more prominent site. --Muchness 09:59, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
