From "Physical description", paragraph 3: "The change of colour is mediated by adrenergic stimulation, that is, change occurs as a result of the presence of the hormone epinephrine." I am guessing that this colour change is quick and is mediated by nerves? It seems more likely that uses norepinephrine rather than epinephrine? Axl ¤ [Talk] 18:40, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

From "Physical description", paragraph 4: "The anus is just in front of the origin of the first anal fin. It has twenty-four vertebrae, of which eleven are precaudal and thirteen are caudal." I have asked the Guild of Copyeditors to review the plural form of "marlin" used. Some more information about the diet of the "planktonic larvae" would be helpful. So would more information about the fish's meat.
