Should this page not just redirect to Pacific Sky??? --ChrisW 11:06, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
- Considering this ship has changed ownership, I'd think most definitely not. However if redirections really are preferred, the correct thing to do would be to rename the Pacific Sky article to Fairsky (her original name) and redirect to there from Pacific Sky, Sky Princess and Sky Wonder.
I disagree with your statement, "rename the Pacific Sky article to Fairsky (her original name)". She was most known as Pacific Sky. The original Pacific Sky article should be kept in the state that it is, dedicated to the ship as it were when owned by P&O Cruises.
However, on Pacific Sky page, provide a link to here Sky Wonder. It would make sense to do it this way. --ChrisW 01:19, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
Funny kind of increase
[edit]In the General Characteristics section, it state the gross tonnage as 46,087 tonnes, then goes on to say that when fully laden it increases to 31,000 tonnes. Should that read increases by 31,000 tonnes? Pedrocelli 10:26, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
Concern: Accuracy of 'Active' Life of Ship
[edit]The text of the article indicates "...was a cruise ship built in 1984. Laid up for years...". I took an 11 day cruise on the Sitmar Fairsky in March 1985 from Los Angeles to the (Western) Mexican Riviera. I am reasonably certain the ship was not 'laid up' during that period. --HLogic (talk) 12:50, 6 March 2015 (UTC)
- @HLogic: I think I've cleared up the ship's history a bit. Let me know what you think. --Ahecht (TALK
