Hello. This is my first article. Although this page is not complete and still needs editing, I wanted to upload this to receive feed back and suggestions on how to improve my article and to keep it from deletion. If you have suggestions and wish to help please either post here or on my personal talk page. Thanks!
{{help me}} I understand that my article was trimmed basically on lack of neutrality, but how can I add more stuff (maybe some of the old stuff too) and keep it from being deleted? Basically I want more bulk in my article. Kkeaton1101 (talk) 13:50, 12 November 2009 (UTC)
- Hi! Thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia; I hope you're enjoying it so far. You can add anything you want via the "edit" button, but please bear in mind that material you add must be sourced to reliable sources. This establishes notability for the material, and makes it verifiable. Please also note the importance of keeping a neutral point of view: the neutral reporting of what the sources say, rather than giving a particular slant one way or the other. More information, and instructions for using citation templates, is available at Wikipedia:Citing sources.
- This applies to the removed information you have already contributed. Bear in mind the above, and if you feel the material is worthy of inclusion, you may re-add and cite your sources. That should be a good step forward.
- If you need any further help, drop me a note on my talk page, or drop a note the help desk (probably faster!).
- Best, PeterSymonds (talk) 15:30, 12 November 2009 (UTC)
- Also, relax. I'm an admin, and I haven't deleted your article. It's fine. It's not going to get deleted. DS (talk) 03:36, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
So, if I took the information I had before and simply cited them I would be able to re-add them without them being deleted again? (Kkeaton1101 (talk) 18:46, 30 November 2009 (UTC))
- Uh. That depends on what sort of information. Puffy PR-type statements simply aren't acceptable. Reword them. DS (talk) 05:35, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
