[edit]Halide Edip had written and published "Ateşten Gömlek" first in English then in Turkish, after the Turkish National Liberation War. She made the following dedication in the foreword of the book (available in internet): DEDICATED TO THE YOUTH OF THE NATIONS REPRESENTED IN THE TURKISH ORDEAL “My story is simple. It does not aim at a moral. But I pray that the future Youth who will read it may tear away the veil behind which they slew each other and were slain . . . recognize their likeness in the eyes of their brothers . . . grip each other’s hands . . . and on the old Ruins of hatred and Desolation erect a New World of Brotherhood and Peace.” I believe Wikipedia should dedicate an article to this valuable book. My thanks to whoever will undertake this mission. --Why should I have a User Name? (talk) 16:53, 16 March 2014 (UTC)
