Atala a Desert Doom band from Twentynine Palms CA. They feature members Kyle Stratton (song writer, guitarist and lead vocalist), Jeff Tedtaotao (drums) and Dave Horn (bass and back ups). They are currently on Salt of the Earth Records.

The band has toured regionally, nationally and globally. They have made multiple appearances at festivals such as the Maryland Doom Fest, New England Stoner and Doom Festival, Texases South by Southwest and Holland's famous Roadburn festival.

They have released 4 Albums, self titled, Shaman's Path of the Serpent, Labyrinth of Ashmedia and The Bearer of light. They have also been featured on a short documentary called Desert Doom.

Atala is a desert doom band formed by Kyle Stratton in 29 Palms California, U.S.A. idependent and relentless. The band features, members of Rise of the Willing, Son's of Serro, and Forever Came calling.Their debut self titled was recorded and produced by Scott Reeder (Kyuss,Obbsessed). Their upcoming release, "Shaman's Path of the Serpent" was produced by Billy Anderson (Sleep, Melvins, Mastadon) and is due to release in May of 2016.
