What is H^n ?

[edit]

In the article, it should be stated what in means. I guess that it is hyperbolic space, but this symbol has different meanings, one should be clear about that. 2003:C9:7F1A:9BB1:EC4B:9915:B7F1:E1BF (talk) 06:57, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Asymptotic dimension of a group

[edit]

In the article, we have formal definition of the asymptotic dimension of a metric space, and then the concept is used for groups whithout stating how one can use the metric definition for groups. I guess that one only considers finitely generated groups and the metric space is the Cayley graph with respect to any finite generating set. This is well-defined since any two such graphs are coarsely equivalent. IF this is what is meant here, it should be in the article. 2003:C9:7F1A:9BB1:EC4B:9915:B7F1:E1BF (talk) 07:01, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
