GA

[edit]
No joke, but sort of a test. As far as I can tell, the article meets all of the Good Article criteria. Note that the GAC say nothing about the length or depth of the article; the closest it gets is broadness, which I believe this article meets. Mike Peel (talk) 18:40, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hard X-ray detector energy range

[edit]

I have changed the HX high energy t0 30 keV in the text, which agrees with the table. The NSSDC intrument ref [1] shows it as 30 keV also. Wwheaton (talk) 18:51, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GA on hold

[edit]

I have reviewed the article, and have found some issues which you must rectify in seven days.

  • I understand there is very little on this subject, but I still think it needs some expansion. Try here
  • The article should be written in a way that readers unfamiliar to the subject will be able to understand. The big issue here is KeV - a wikilink helps, but it would be good to explain what the term means too.
  • Include somewhere in the article what scientific discoveries were made from ANS.
  • An image can be found here
  • Good job on the citations!

Good luck! Shrewpelt (talk) 20:22, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the comments! Your links drew to my attention the alternative name of the satellite, and hence the other language wikipedia articles about it. It'll take me a little while to incorporate the information into the article, so I'll withdraw this GA request for now, and will resubmit it once the article's been improved. Thanks again!
