General Edits
[edit]Removed the following line from the final section of the article: 'The closure and departure of the tenant at the end of his lease will allow the owner to carry out the restorations that are badly needed to the interior of the theatre.' It was deemed to be a very subjective statement as it lacked citation, and Wikipedia should remain as free of bias as possible. Included reference to current (as of Dec. 2014) uncertainty on whether or not the Astor Theatre will indeed be closing; information should be updated to reflect the outcome. Info from other article
[edit]I've just redirected Astor Theater to this page - the previous content of that page was:
- The Astor Theatre was founded by John Jacob Astor IV, a victim of the RMS Titanic. It is located in the Melbourne suburb of Windsor in Victoria, Australia.
I haven't merged that info in because I can't find a citation for it. If anyone can find a reference it should be added.-Hunting dog (talk) 22:10, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
