Suggested edits to page: Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry
[edit]Good morning,
I suggest that a number of edits be made to either clarify information or change incorrect statements:
1. The Chief Executive of the ABPI is Mike Thompson as of March 1st 2016 as can be referenced by this Pharmafile article: http://www.pharmafile.com/appointment/502881/abpi-appoints-mike-thompson-new-chief-executive
2. The bio line of the page says "...manufacture and supply 80% of the medicines prescribed..." however this should be amended to "...manufacture and supply 80% of the branded medicines prescribed..." as outlined on the company page here: http://www.abpi.org.uk/about-us/Pages/default.aspx. The original statement is misleading.
3. The page refers to a research director 'Bina Rawal' however this position has been replaced with the equivalent role of RM&I Director. This post is currently held by Dr. Virginia Acha as referenced in this PharmaTimes article: http://www.pharmatimes.com/appointments/abpi_appoints_dr_virginia_acha_as_new_rm_and_i_director_1010067
