Biased or unsupported statements
[edit]Unlike several consulting firms, this knowledge does NOT require the increase in sales, nor the layoff of employees to improve profits.
This is barely a real sentence. What I think it is intending to say is also biased or at least unsupported. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 157.252.99.10 (talk • contribs) 23:08, 6 March 2008

Original name
[edit]I restored the inclusion of the original acronym American Production and Inventory Control Society. Although they currently market themselves as 'The Association for Operations Management' and have even created the new stretch of an acronym 'Advancing Productivity, Innovation, and Competitive Success', I think it is historically relevant to acknowledge the organization's original name used for almost 50 years. -GF —Preceding unsigned comment added by 61.50.172.158 (talk) 10:51, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
Promotional content removed
[edit]Removed advertorial link at the bottom of the article (APICS CPIM Test Simulator) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 101.98.135.228 (talk) 08:25, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
APICS certifications
[edit]Should the various certifications offered by APICS (CPIM/CFPIM/CSCP) be posted here instead of in their own separate articles? Right now they seem kind of stubby. Garfunklette (talk) 12:45, 6 April 2012 (UTC)
- I agree, as I don't think they warrant their own articles, and in any case, they seem to still be the main impact of the organization. My Gussie (talk) 21:21, 18 March 2021 (UTC)
