Fix English
[edit]The article intro actually says " This was the creature his the three characters of John." - cannot fix it since I don't understand what it is supposed to say. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.8.166.183 (talk) 21:07, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
Fix Chronology
[edit]The film cannot have been made by "Lana Wachowski", since back in 1995 the director was still a dude. Same way Kant was not born in Kaliningrad, people born prior to 1991 were not born in Russian Federation but in the USSR and so on. Shouldn't project current events on past and thus rewrite it.
- I agree, for example clearly Caitlin Jenner didn't win Olympic Gold medals, Bruce Jenner did, otherwise she would be the greatest female Olympic athlete of all time. However the edit you suggest isn't likely to happen. Wikipedia has made a political decision to side with Transactivists (who have a neurological disorder), and who insist on imposing their skewed point of view on an online encyclopedia in order to try to force society to see things from their view. Even though that view doesn't make any rational sense. If we try to edit this then a majority of Transactivists will swarm the conversation and demand it be re-edited to suit them. 2602:304:CF44:5989:588B:E728:1B90:629F (talk) 08:14, 8 January 2016 (UTC)

Writing credits
[edit]So, this sentence is correct for you: "However, the actors' performances were praised. Stallone's performance in the film earned him a Golden Raspberry Award nomination for Worst Actor..." because you reverted my edit. I didn't deleted The Wachowskis from the screenplay by section, I just switched their names. (Even Brian Helgeland confirms that he "totally rewrote" the script. - The above is transferred from my Talk page to the article's Talk page. I am reverting your changes to keep the correct writing credit. You cannot override the order of credits to your preferred version. They should reflect the actual credits in the film. As to the Reception section, it appears to me that sentence was referring to other critics. Not the Raspberry Awards. Others didn't have a problem with it. But if you want to address that, do it with a separate edit. That's how it's recommended to handle such things at WP. - Gothicfilm (talk) 09:28, 9 July 2017 (UTC)

Change "The screenplay was by Andy and Larry Wachowski" to "The screenplay was by Lilly and Lana Wachowski". Using trans people's deadnames is not classy. 174.93.117.251 (talk) 05:14, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
- Not done: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the
{{edit semi-protected}}
template. They were known as Andy and Larry at the time the film was made and they are credited as such in the film, so those are the names we use regardless of how "classy" it might be. —KuyaBriBriTalk 13:49, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
Just change it to The Wachowskis like their Wiki entry is titled. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Howlinghowlong (talk • contribs) 00:25, 22 May 2018 (UTC)
