Ashlee stabbed her mother in self-defense after being stabbed and after fighting for control of the knife.
Ashlee didn't lock her siblings in a closet. They were in their bedroom with television, snacks, juice, and a telephone. She put them there to keep them safe. She misses them a lot and hopes one day they will have a better understanding and be able to forgive her. She is content knowing they are no longer held captive by Thomas Ayers abuse and control.
She is currently attending daily groups at Taycheedah Correctional Institution, seeking psychological help and therapies to Recover from a life full of abuse. When she has completed these groups she is considering a further college education. AishaZain (talk) 17:41, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
