Requested move
[edit]- The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: Pave moved to Ashland (Henry Clay estate). I chose the least ambiguous suggestion, and made redirects out of the others. -- Hadal (talk) 09:19, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
Ashland, the Henry Clay estate → Ashland (plantation) – Much terser disambiguation.--SarekOfVulcan (talk) 19:20, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
- There is already an Ashland Plantation with an article, and it was in Louisiana, so the proposed title is ambiguous. There is also already an Ashland, Kentucky. Would you consider Ashland (Clay estate) or Ashland (Lexington, Kentucky)? Powers T 20:22, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
- Note: the article was moved from Ashland (Henry Clay home) in this edit in late 2007. Powers T 20:25, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
- How about Ashland (Kentucky plantation)? "Clay estate" is confusing, because clay is a building material, and "Ashland (Lexington, Kentucky)" makes it sound like a neighborhood of Lexington. Maybe. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 21:01, 26 May 2011 (UTC)

- I could get behind that too.--SarekOfVulcan (talk) 21:44, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
