Spelling standardization

This article is pretty good, but its spelling is a mishmash: "labour", "color", "modernize", "publicise", "kilometers". Which way should it go? -- Hoary (talk) 02:48, 21 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

How heavy?

There's a lot of talk about "tons". Would these tons be "long tons" (1016 kg), "short tons" (907 kg), or "metric tons" (tonnes, 1000 kg)? (Unfortunately I don't have access to the cited sources.) Most of the mentions here of tonnage look as if they're imprecise, so it hardly matters; but among them is a mention of "2286 tons". -- Hoary (talk) 02:48, 21 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
