Ashes to Ashes (book) → Ashes to Ashes (nonfiction book) – There also exist a novel of the same title. An anonymous username, not my real name 05:41, 5 February 2023 (UTC)
- Comment Ashes to Ashes (novel) does not appear to meet WP:NBOOK and should probably be merged to Tami Hoag. 162 etc. (talk) 17:48, 5 February 2023 (UTC)
- Comment If the merge is not carried out, Ashes to Ashes (Kluger book) is the preferable disambiguation. 162 etc. (talk) 17:52, 5 February 2023 (UTC)
- "Novel Ashes to Ashes" produced several results in GBook search from Isabel Ostrander onwards. But this book already has long natural disambiguation in print sources as Ashes to Ashes - America's Hundred-Year Cigarette War, the Public Health, and the Unabashed Triumph of Philip Morris . WP:NATURAL would indicate that as a title. In ictu oculi (talk) 21:00, 5 February 2023 (UTC)
- WP:SUBTITLE asks us to consider the WP:CONCISE title as well; I'd argue that Ashes to Ashes - America's Hundred-Year Cigarette War, the Public Health, and the Unabashed Triumph of Philip Morris is excessively long. 162 etc. (talk) 16:31, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
- If the merge is not carried out, 162 etc. is right that Ashes to Ashes (Kluger book) is the appropriate title, per WP:SUBTITLE. The suggested alternative "natural disambiguation" is so long that, with Vector 2022, it may stretch over as many as three lines for some readers. Graham (talk) 06:01, 8 February 2023 (UTC)
