To do

[edit]

I would like to propose the addition of the controversies from the current editor in chief's page, although there are no cites. Anyone here know who was working on it? The main user doesn't have a personal page or talk page. Myrightsversusyours (talk) 20:18, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

published in Saudi Arabia ? I thought it was published in London ?--Khalid hassani 14:59, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, it is published in different cities. Jeddah, London, Casablanca, etc... Different editions. -- Szvest Ω Wiki Me Up ® 13:54, 23 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bias?

[edit]

It is generally accepted that certain publications in the US, for example, lean somewhat towards the left or the right, and many other journals throughout the world present clearly slanted views of events (Israeli publications come to mind). Does Asharq Alawsat have such a reputation (one that is generally accepted as accurate) as being biased or leaning toward any particular ideology (political, religious or otherwise)? Since the article describes it as "pan-Arabic", I would assume that it does have such a bias, and is likely to be somewhat hostile toward non-Arab states (particularly Iran). Is this an accurate assessment? -Grammaticus Repairo 01:08, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"off-shore"

[edit]

Mentioned in the intro. What does 'off-shore' mean in the context of this news-paper. No definition is given.77.98.28.211 (talk) 03:38, 1 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It Needs To Be Known That The Newspaper Is Not Reliable

[edit]

Zhoban was reacting to an edit I made to the Said Ali Al-Shihri article. I did not make this edit to back my edit on that article. The general accuracy of the newspaper is very questionable and this needs to known Most of the resources I added came from Tariq's own Wikipedia article. However, I did add information about his stance on Syria through research.75.72.35.253 (talk) 00:58, 17 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
