[edit]This is a much flawed article and is based on loose facts He is a Muslim only by name , he has written against the Prophet S.A. in his books and that's a mighty shame I heard he is dead as well
- You're right. "Muslim" is used as an ethnic term to include atheists as is with more correctness done for "Hindu" but it's just sloppy thinking and particularly incorrect in the case of Islam. However this is a confusion which many millions in states like Turkey have labored under for some time. Not going to be cleared up in a biographical article. 76.180.168.166 (talk) 03:00, 15 May 2013 (UTC)
Engineer
[edit]Is "Engineer" considered part of the name? Is it translated when not speaking English like "Father Mackenzie"?
- Yes it is part of the name! --Ekabhishek (talk) 18:35, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
- How can a 13 year old retire from service after 20 years of service?! Mr. Engineer, whom I have admired since 1970 was not really born in 1939. Someone needs to provide the correct birth date. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.243.37.211 (talk) 20:14, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
- (indented prior entry). Well the real thing obviously that's missing is how he adopted the name, the subject of this thread. 76.180.168.166 (talk) 02:56, 15 May 2013 (UTC)
- Done! Eight years later, though. --Dawud — Preceding unsigned comment added by 114.37.192.228 (talk) 15:04, 22 November 2021 (UTC)
