Fair use rationale for Image:Trivium - Ascendancy Special Edition.jpg

[edit]

Image:Trivium - Ascendancy Special Edition.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

AMG

[edit]

Well, Twinkle just cut the end of my edit summary right off. The point I was making was that AMG does not use thrash in the infobox (not that I'd take it seriously, it is not a reliable source), and secondly, in the review itself, all it does is say "a mix of thrash", it never calls it a thrash metal album. Please find a reliable source. ≈ The Haunted Angel 20:11, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And, for the record, so does AllMusic. Saying that an album has thrashy guitar does not qualify as thrash metal. I have no idea how people confuse thrash metal with metalcore. It's quite simple: METALCORE LYRICS ARE SCREAMED. That's the point. -MetalKommandant (talk) 20:49, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

52nd best guitar album in the world

[edit]

where it says "This album was also rated 52 on Guitar World's list of 100 greatest guitar albums of all time" needs a source, because there is no source i am going to remove it, and if someone can find a source than please put it back with the source

Album genre change

[edit]

Please put "thrash metal" back up under their album Ascendancy. It is clearly both metalcore AND thrash metal. [1] 75.117.181.142 (talk) 20:10, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind. I saw the post under "AMG". I see what you guys are saying now. Just ignore this. lol 75.117.181.142 (talk) 20:13, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
