I was always wondering why people like putting information about exact dates that albums leaked into the file-sharing programs. Is it to say - 'Go ahead, download it. It's already available in P2P'? I think that such information should not be included in the articles about albumsd at all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zone (talkcontribs) 12:47, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Um, how about because it's significant if an album leaks months before its released.--69.136.10.51 (talk) 15:28, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Add trivia to this article

[edit]

As I'm not a established en.WP user, I can't add this information to the article. Maybe it is interesting for the trivia section: The track 01 - As I Am (Intro) is based on Frédéric Chopin's Nocturne in C Sharp Minor (1830). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Eliasp (talkcontribs) 20:00, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Clive Davis buying the album?

[edit]

Where is the source that there is speculation that Clive Davis is buying the album himself? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.64.118.67 (talk) 03:39, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Best selling opening week ever?

[edit]

This is not a fan article... We all know it isn't the highest debut of all time by a female artist. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.145.81.243 (talk) 04:46, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

this is not a pop album! so don't add it, please. --93.146.217.139 (talk) 14:51, 7 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

TBA (2010)

[edit]

Where's the source that says there will be a future album in 2010? -- User:Markie93 20:01, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Genre

[edit]

Sorry, but i wouldn't say that this is a pop album. I mean the only track which features pop arrangements is Tell you something but the rest of the album is based on classic soul and R&B melodies, with the exception of Lesson Learned, which is a blues song. Many critics noted a change in her musical direction but they're wrong when they call As I Am a pop album. I wouldn't call this pop.--Anthony Wilde (talk) 08:35, 4 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

As I AmAs I Am (Alicia Keys album) – There are many articles with the name As I Am, including another album article for it, so it should be moved to the appropriate disambiguator. 71.78.121.130 (talk) 20:50, 5 June 2022 (UTC) — Relisting. >>> Extorc.talk 10:52, 12 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
