Mergein Artworks (disambiguation) proposed
[edit]appears to be an ill advised off-centered compensation for the software package named (note the capitalisation--the anomaly that made me investigate – while clearing redirect/capitalization links to direct links)
- I believe the two pages need merged, the intermediate redirect I also found, the plural of this page
- Work of art, though this might be a suitable page as well, so opine. // FrankB 15:21, 5 March 2009 (UTC) –I'm about to finish converting to a better target:
- Support: I have amended the cheeky redirect from the software to the disam page - Artworks. But a merge is probably best. Johnbod (talk) 15:33, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
No mention of the UK free arts newspaper ArtWork - now in its 30th year.
[edit]Surprised there is no mention of the UK arts newspaper ArtWork (+ www.artwork.co.uk), published bi-monthly (20.000 copies) in the UK since 1983 - before Wikipedia was born? We have no intention of blowing our own trumpet but perhaps a brief reference might be worth making for the record. We are usually up there amongst the top entries in the search engines and we don't pay people to get us there. Actually, we BELIEVE IN PRINT - and the paper is flourishing. Artwork → Artwork (disambiguation) – Many of the topics listed on this page are types of artwork. Those that are not are lesser-known software titles. I propose to move this to the disambiguation title so that the word "Artwork" can redirect to its natural meaning, Work of art. bd2412 T 02:08, 28 August 2014 (UTC)
- Easy support as primary topic. Red Slash 21:32, 30 August 2014 (UTC)

- Support as those above. "Work of art" could as easily be at this name as well. DeistCosmos (talk) 01:21, 31 August 2014 (UTC)
- I'd prefer not to do that - it tends to get over-used, and there are ENGVAR differences in usage. Johnbod (talk) 12:17, 31 August 2014 (UTC)
