[edit]Dammit, stop deleting "The Olde Yale bitch slap." It really IS a Yale tradition, connected with Hadley. Regardless of if he was the first to perform it, he is certainly associated with its most famous incident. And yes, I apologize, I got the Harvard president wrong, I'll change that. You can't revise history because you don't like it.
- Even if it is, it is has no purpose in being mentioned on Wikipedia in anything other than a trivia point. Also, please sign your comments. --Gdo01 20:22, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
Has no purpose being mentioned? I mean let's face it, this is the only thing the guy is remembered for on our campus. No one cares that he died on some wild safari.
- If you believe it should be mentioned cite a source. I've looked for any site that mentions it and no where is there any proof that he started the tradition or that he even did it. I'd imagine that any Yale fan site would have it but they don't meaning that even Yale fans don't think its important. Again, please sign your comments. --Gdo01 20:40, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
- The reason you can't find it is because it's complete bullshit. Perhaps someone had too much beer at a mixer. - Nunh-huh 21:47, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
