Sources tag
[edit]I added the sources tag because the idea that Eisenmenger undisputably created the Euro symbol is under dispute (see Euro symbol article.) One link is provided that does contain useful information but does not, to my mind, constitute 100% watertight verifiable evidence of this specific incident. Nach0king 10:30, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
European Flag ?
[edit]The European Flag page says that two other people designed it?? Jason404 (talk) 10:58, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
The flag was designed by the Council of Europe, not the European Economic Community, or as it later became named, the European Union. The Wikpedia entry for "Flag of Europe" states that "The flag was designed by Arsène Heitz and Paul Lévy in 1955" ... before the Treaty of Rome even came into effect !!!!
So I don't think Arthur Eisenmenger should be given credit for the flag at all. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mstrubell (talk • contribs) 13:36, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
