The result of the move request was: not moved. Another RM may be appropriate if RS eventually switch over to using the subject's apparently preferred spelling (as happened with Coco Gauff). (non-admin closure) Colin M (talk) 17:07, 12 September 2019 (UTC)
Artemi Panarin → Artemiy Panarin – Panarin wishes to be known as Artemiy in North America per User:Rickyharder. Panarin's Instagram and Twitter are already carrying this name. StarScream1007 ►Talk 12:36, 4 September 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose I don't believe that we name pages based on how people to refer to themselves. However, googling this new name yields "Showing results for Artemi Panarin". Thus, RS are not using this new name.-TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 01:56, 6 September 2019 (UTC)
- Comment - Artemiy has been used Russian-based English sources (see SKA St. Petersburg, Russian Ice Hockey Fed.). That said, the predominant spelling used in English media sources is Artemi. Sorta refrained from commenting though, cause this seemed to be an issue of Russian Romanization standards. Leventio (talk) 02:57, 6 September 2019 (UTC)

2015 KHL All-Star Game
[edit]What is the asterisk next to the 2015 KHL All-Star game on his list of awards and honors supposed to indicate?
There is no correlating asterisk anywhere on the rest of the page. Jdjd021 (talk) 19:08, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
- Good catch. It looks like it could just be an errant piece of wikitext from when a list was formatted into a table [1]. I've removed it. Wracking talk! 19:14, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
