Even though cricket is widely popular in Pakistan but this is limited to international cricket or better to say shorter format (PSL etc). That's why Pakistani media hardly cover first-class cricketers these days. Good example is this guy: no coverage even he played 20 first-class matches in an era when all Pakistani sources are online.
