Rejection to deletion of page
[edit]This article, if improved, is notible. Arriva Guildford and West Surrey is a bus operator with a Wikipedia article, like many other worldwide bus companies. If this is not notable, then 200 articles on UK bus companies should already have been deleted. And, whoever wants to delete the page, surly a more decent, more professional Wikipedia, reson for deleting the page would be better, not a disgraceful "yawn oh yeah reason ok I am awake now not notable" or "prod'd again: Even with changes, it is still not notable". I have improved and added sections of the article and will remove the deletion template when I think the article is up to scratch. -- Arriva 436 17:05, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- I second the above. Anon who has twice prodded this: please note the message if this template is removed, it should not be replaced. A mistake like that and the fact that your nomination is misguided, I can actually forgive. What is unforgivable is your editing anonymously - create an account, stand up and answer for your edits. -- RHaworth 19:28, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
Like my tactics or not....
[edit]At least I forced you to improve the page. May not be the most exciting page I have seen but it is a much improved page. Call it a variation on tough love. And just like I didn't like your first two versions of the article, you don't have to like the tactics I used to get you to improve the article. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 172.145.172.245 (talk) 03:44, 12 February 2007 (UTC).
- Don't flatter yourself. I would have removed the prod anyway without article improvement. -- RHaworth 08:10, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I improved some of it, but I didn't create the article. Arriva 436 08:46, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Arriva (logo).gif
[edit]Image:Arriva (logo).gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:54, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
