Split decision. The second item was moved as proposed with consensus. It is unclear if there is consensus for the first move. Vegaswikian (talk) 02:08, 8 September 2011 (UTC)
- Arrested development → Arrested development (psychology)
- Arrested Development → Arrested development (disambiguation)
– REDIRECT Arrested development and Arrested Development --> Arrested development (disambiguation) Reduces reliance on differences in capitalization for disambiguation. Proposed changes involve moves over existing redirects. Osubuckeyeguy (talk) 07:07, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
Support; capitalization is not sufficient disambiguation in this instance -- especially since the capitalized version is just a disambiguation page. Powers T 13:14, 1 September 2011 (UTC)- Somehow I misread the proposal. I Support moving Arrested Development but Oppose moving Arrested development, as I believe this is still the primary topic. Powers T 14:51, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
- The article correctly states that the term is no longer actively used to describe psychological conditions. I would be far more inclined to assume that the majority of people looking for this term on Wikipedia are interested in the television show, rather than outdated psychiatric or medical terminology. Osubuckeyeguy (talk) 07:10, 4 September 2011 (UTC)
- Popular usage is slow to catch up with expert usage. I won't argue too strenuously against a disambiguation page at the base name, but I don't think it's ideal. Powers T 15:18, 4 September 2011 (UTC)

- Strong support - Pretty clear the psychological term isn't a distinctly primary topic. -Kudzu1 (talk) 04:02, 3 September 2011 (UTC)

Requested move 2

No consensus to move. Vegaswikian (talk) 21:25, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
Arrested development → Arrested development (psychology) – There was consensus for the second move that was proposed but consensus was unclear on this part of the move. Starting a new nomination to see if there is in fact consensus for this move also. Vegaswikian (talk) 02:11, 8 September 2011 (UTC)
- Oppose. Still the primary topic as far as I'm concerned. Powers T 13:17, 8 September 2011 (UTC)
- Support I believe that there is no clear primary usage and that a redirect to the disambig page would make the most sense. The TV series and music group have drawn their names from the historical usage of this term, but both have reached a level of notability that they are just as likely to be the intended target of a user's search. The page views for these three articles support this. Here are the current page view totals for September: Arrested Development (TV series) (58,118), Arrested development (11,216), Arrested Development (group) (3,678). What does this even mean?
[edit]"In the field of medicine, the term "arrested development" was used, in 1835-1836, to mean a stoppage of physical development; the term continues to be used to indicate a stoppage of physical development."
i just stumbled upon this when I was looking for the TV-series by the same name. The term was coined in 1835? Or does it mean that it has been used from 1835 up until now, but with a pause in its use? This is really unclear.
