Plagiarism section

[edit]

I've reduced the total word count in the plagiarism section; it seems really unbalanced to devote more words to an American journalist's response about the plagiarism of these paragraphs instead of the founding of India Today, a hugely important global publication. I do think the incident should be included, obviously, just that it wasn't enough of a controversy to justify big block quotes from both parties. When Purie passes, this incident seems like it will be a footnote in his obituary rather than the largest focus (as it was in the current article.)

But I will also try soon to expand the discussion of India Today's role in Indian journalism, which would also help with that balance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by WikiCorvee (talkcontribs) 21:52, 5 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
