Removed link
[edit]I have removed the link to http://www.railways.incanada.net/Articles/Article2003_3.html as it does not provide a reference to material on the page; however, there is information there which we may wish to incorporate into the article, so I've moved the link here for the reference of those editing this page. - Cafemusique 03:57, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Edited out the statement
[edit]Arnprior is in Canada's National Capital Region.
and replaced it with the more accurate staement iin the Tourism Section
Arnprior is located adjacent to Canada's National Capital Region.
removed arnpriorgeneology ad
[edit]I removed and broke the following link, as it was added to the bottom of the page, in the wrong place (perhaps automated?) and the content of the link was not mentioned anywhere in the article, and it was by a user that seems to no longer exist. The info seems relevant, and there are interesting drawings in the article that, so I kept the link here in case someone wants to use it as a reference to add some historical text in the article, using <ref> </ref> tags to reference it inline. (for example, "Founded 1850 by Daniel McLachlin".??). However, the article is very hard to read at the resolution provided, and I can't find on it the original publisher or date, so we would have to track down the original reference somehow.

namesakes
[edit]This section is to discuss and document things about 'namesakes' that could be moved to or from the article depending on the amount of support:
- in history section, there is random line about the HMCS Arnprior (K494). Why is this relevant? Was it in some special honor of the town or the crew? Suggest removal.
- in the same vein, apparently there was an [HMCS Arnprior (J349)] minesweeper until 1943 aswell: [1] [2] Any further into on that?

Wrong Archibald McNab?
[edit]There is a link to an article about Archibald McNab, but the one in the article was born in 1826. Since the land in Arnprior was deeded to Archibald McNab in 1823, I think the link should be removed. Wrong guy.

Arnprior, Ontario → Arnprior — set up hatnotes to Scottish village, and at Scottish village back to Ontario town
- Definitely no need for a dab page here, only two articles share the title. I'd argue that the Ontario place is more notable by its higher status (as a town), having 35 times the population, and a far more in-depth article. - ʄɭoʏɗiaɲ τ ¢ 22:04, 28 December 2010 (UTC)
Support. Per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC and WP:TWODABS, set up a hatnote link to the other use. --Born2cycle (talk) 22:00, 29 December 2010 (UTC)

Is the White Pine Festival still alive?
[edit]Its website is offline, and its Facebook page indicates no activity since 2016. Is the Arnprior White Pine Festival continuing? If not, it should be removed from the list of attractions in the town. PKT(alk) 18:57, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
