GA nomination
[edit]This article is a very good one and it can be a GA nomination. — HĐ (talk) 10:56, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
- No it's not, it needs major work. — AARON • TALK 11:14, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
- Oh come on, it is as good as Let There Be Love or something else! — HĐ (talk) 14:49, 9 May 2013 (UTC)
- It's not. I haven't finished this article and it was majorly disrupted by another editor. I wrote "Let There Be Love", and it's not on the same level. — AARON • TALK 22:24, 12 May 2013 (UTC)

American English
[edit]- Criticised should be written as criticized.
- favourite should be favorite.
Lead
[edit]- "Army of Me" is a song recorded by American singer-songwriter Christina Aguilera, taken from her seventh studio album Lotus (2012). ---Change to: "Army of Me" is a song recorded by American singer-songwriter Christina Aguilera for her seventh studio album, Lotus (2012). Mostly because it's easier on the eyes.
- Many praised Aguilera's strong delivery of the songs message and branded it a potential single, while others criticised it for being too similar to "Fighter". ---> songs needs to be changed to song's. Having read the critical recep section, critics say it's similar to fighter but they don't actually criticise the song for it. There is, however, some itch about her vocal performance. Thoughts?
- What? Some itch? Lol — AARON • TALK 21:18, 21 June 2013 (UTC)
- According to the section, Wass considered her vocals sparse, while Copsey said her vocals are overworked.
- If something is too similar, it's a negative thing. He criticised it for being too similar, not for being a bad song. — AARON • TALK 21:30, 21 June 2013 (UTC)
- Okay. Robin (talk) 21:36, 21 June 2013 (UTC)

Composition and lyrics
[edit]- The empowering lyrics "One of me is wiser/ One of me is stronger/ One of me's a fighter/ And there's a thousand faces of me/ We're gonna rise up for every time you broke me/ You're gonna face an army of me" are similar to those performed by Aguilera on "Fighter", although of "Army of Me" does not sample any of the song. ---- Empowering isn't needed here; verbose and redundant.
- Chris Younie for 4Music wrote that his favourite lyric in the song is "Now I've found my second wind, now I've found my second skin". --- This doesn't belong in a composition section and is painful to read.
Credits and personnel
[edit]- Why are all the instruments capitalised?
- It would be grammatically incorrect to not capital them as they are bullet pointed. — AARON • TALK 21:21, 21 June 2013 (UTC)
- Okay. I've never heard of that rule *scratches head*. Robin (talk) 21:25, 21 June 2013 (UTC)
