opening date
[edit]this article says the tunnel opened on december 21. the german version says september 21. which is correct? —X1011 08:25, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
- Emperor Franz Josef I drived on 20 Sept. 1884 trough the tunnel, and at the next day was the official opening. Look here.--32 Fuß-Freak (talk) 20:00, 24 April 2023 (UTC)
Length of the tunnel
[edit]Hello, it was 10216 metres long in 1884. In the year 2001 was opened a new railway station in St. Anton, and the tunnel was built more then 400 metres longer to east. Now it is 10648 m or 10650 m long. 32 Fuß-Freak (talk) 19:56, 24 April 2023 (UTC)
