Plagiarized?

[edit]

Much of this page seems to have been copied from this site http://visionmena.com/Arkansas/arkansas_facts.htm, though I do not know which was written first: the Wikipedia entry or the above site.Josh a brewer 06:22, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regardless, I'm planning to do an overhaul of the page very soon. It's definitely in need of one. Samuel Peoples (talk) 18:21, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, just saw the date on this. I assume the article has changed a lot since this comment was written. Still, the article is in need of a lot of information and there are plenty of good references out there. Samuel Peoples (talk) 18:39, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Move to new page?

[edit]

I think this page should be moved to a new page dedicated solely to the historical settlement (Arkansas Post (Historical Settlement)?), with a separate page remaining for the memorial itself. I'm planning an overhaul of it and other related articles anyway (just organizing some sources), and the article mostly describes the history of the settlement as opposed to details about the memorial.
