8th congressional district of Arizona
[edit]Before I edited this page tonight, the History section seemed very anti-Native American. So i moderated that a bit. Even if one is very reactionary, pro-european colonization, whatever....it would be unfair to compare Native Americans in the area to "European robber barons" which is what the page said before tonight. I hope that all understand, ummm,..... that the Native Americans were actually here first. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 168.103.241.240 (talk) 06:29, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- While I commend your wanting to spread the often forgotten history of Native Americans, the page you linked to under the history section ("their" land) provided no explanation of who "they" are and where "their" land was. --68.98.226.249 (talk) 06:37, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
The descriptions of this district pretty much only discuss Cochise County. Since a large majority of the population actually lives in Pima County and the Tucson metropolitan area, much more needs to be added about that. Moreover, some of the claims made about the compositions of the district at large, for example that agriculture is the number one industry district-wide (and not just in Cochise County), seem unlikely. Just a bit of a rural-bias going on. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 222.129.105.102 (talk) 06:09, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
