About the deletion template
[edit]I believe this book is important. I have read it in Hebrew and was deeply inspired by it. In Israel, the author is very highly regarded as a professional in the field. I don't know how I can prove my claims.. any ideas? Orimosenzon (talk) 19:27, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
- I removed the prod tag. Aharoni seems to be a well-known research mathematician who additionally made a name for himself in Israeli math edu circles. A Google search indicates he was involved in some educational reforms adopted by Israel. The book would appear to be one of his major publications on math edu related matters and so may be notable in that respect.
- It would be helpful to dig up reviews and citations to this book. That would go along way to establishing the notability of it. --C S (talk) 04:23, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
- The author is well cited but the book seems to have little notability out of Israel (in which it is quite notable). This could change, though.Orimosenzon (talk) 08:06, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
