Why is democracy in the "exceptions" section?

Why is democracy in the exceptions section, without any arguments in favor of it being an exception provided? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.84.208.57 (talk) 17:25, 16 June 2012 (UTC)

  • I'll recite my comment from ru:Обсуждение:Argumentum_ad_populum: "The democracy belongs to the subject by its definition (see any dictionary). Any measures of "listening to minorities" present in contemporary democracies are meant to facilitate working out better decisions. It's still the majority that ultimately approves them - through their representatives is most cases. — Vano 01:13, 27 May 2014 (UTC)
