Globalize
[edit]Is there any evidence that this term originated with the US military? The British military use it too, and they've been around for a lot longer!
- In addition to that uncited claim, the article is written entirely from a US perspective, with merely a passing nod that "The term may also be used in other countries worldwide ...". The opening sentence even defines the AOR in US terms. (Its grammar needs sorting out, too.) I am tagging with {{globalize}}. --Stfg (talk) 10:43, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
Structure needs major work
[edit]Why is this marked yes on structure? The intro is entirely too long, nearly an entire article in it's own right. A new intro needs to be written, or extracted from the existing intro and the rest of the existing intro needs to be incorporated into the article. Timothyjosephwood (talk) 17:11, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
