I'm Bill Diehl's grandson. the dates the arctic turn was produced must be inaccurate as i was born in 1985 and recall spending many days in the back of the hangar from 85 through around 93 and there were definitely aircraft being build. during that time my step-father also worked for the company. He also abought one of the planes that he and my grandfather built. the plane was not built prior to 1985 that i am sure of but the exact date i dont recall. most likely around 1989-90. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.164.167.153 (talk) 10:16, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
- Jane's All The World's Aircraft 1976–77 has an entry on the "Arctic Aircraft Company", producing the "Arctic Aircraft Arctic Tern", which is stated as a version of the Interstate S1B2. The 1993–94 Jane's says that no new Terns produced since 1990, with the company hoping to restart production in 1994 (although Arctic were building S-4 Privateers, a four seat version of the Tern). It is possible that production may have stopped and started prior to that.Nigel Ish (talk) 18:28, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
